Fran Wyld
Before setting up Wyld Cookery, I worked as a private chef, a consultant and taught cookery for a number of years. Trained at Leiths School of Food & Wine, I gained a first class diploma with honours and an advanced WSET (wine exams). As passionate about cooking on a budget as I am about the taste of the end result, I have worked on recipe development for British supermarkets, run a catering business and provided consultancy to a number of event companies. More recently I became a mother and have since channelled some of my enthusiasm into the baby and toddler side of food, teaming up with Heidi Skudder from The Parent and Baby Coach to run workshops for mothers (and the odd father!) to educate on weaning and toddler eating behaviours. This is a new (ish) string to my bow but one I would never put down as it has become one of my biggest passions.
When not in the kitchen, I am happiest with my family, eating out or travelling. Having spent numerous years as a chef to some of the leading luxury chalet companies as well as working on Super Yachts in the Mediterranean, I know a thing or two about service and aim to convey this in every aspect of my business.
Emma white
Emma and I met in 2006 on the slopes of Courchevel whilst working as chalet girls. Our careers have taken a similar path since and over the last 3 years we have joined forces on many events and teaching jobs. She is a passionate, personable chef with a wide range of experience from working on luxury yachts and for private clients over the last 7 years including two ski seasons servicing some of the finest private chalets in the Alps. Committed to delivering the highest quality food for all occasions, with a reputation for creating healthy, nutritious meals using fresh, locally sourced produce within any budget large or small. Emma was trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and at Orchards in Worcester. Emma moved to London 3 years ago and I am delighted we are working together again!
HEidi skudder - the parent and baby coach
Heidi has over 14 years experience working closely with children and parents during the first few important years of their lives. Having spent time working as a Nanny, Maternity Nurse and Baby Sleep Consultant, Heidi has seen parenting from pretty much every angle! She moved to London 8 years ago and set up the successful business she runs today, The Parent and Baby Coach, which deals with children aged 0-4 and their parents in helping with a range of issues from sleep to eating to potty training - in fact anything you as a parent may be having trouble tackling! 95% of her clients are referred by word of mouth and that is how we met nearly 2 years ago. Heidi came to help me as a new mother and since then we have remained friends. I have seen first hand how effective her work is, not just to the baby itself (for which I am forever grateful!) but to me as a new mother. Not long after I weaned my own daughter I realised it was an area of food I hadn't ventured into yet. Heidi and I discussed that combining our skills and knowledge here could be invaluable to new parents and so our weaning and toddler workshops were born and have gone from strength to strength. The combination of the behavioural side with the practical cooking element is something that isn't currently available elsewhere. Congratulations to Heidi and her husband Rowan who have just welcomed little Rupert to their family!
